YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: • Responsible for not only driving individual challenging R&D projects but also managing the platform which may include some sub-projects or sub-product portfolio in the related field across multiple divisions and multiple countries in the Asia Pacific region or even worldwide. • Responsible for driving innovation in the sub-segment , understanding the technology and marketing trend and according to market insights and technology trend, mapping the strategy plan for new product development to build robust and sustainable project pipeline. • Responsible for working with commercial business development team and sales team to understand marketing as well as identify , screen and consolidate real opportunities then to transfer the opportunities as our real product depending on your own good technical design capabilities. • Build and Lead multi-functional project team, coordinate pilot and plant trials, gather and analyze data associated with all technology aspects of the project through statistical methodology. Determine logical next steps and recommend actions to the project team and management. • Execute project management according to New Product Introduction (NPI) process, involving the use of the appropriate Project Management tools and Databases. • Align with commercial partners to drive the addressable business results, align with Product manager to position new products among the current product portfolio and build multi-gen product development mapping plan as well as align with technical marketing to build new product training details and new product promotion plan. • Work with production and procurement function BUs to do new material qualifications and new production feasibility studies • Work with global technical experts to build the robust connection for technical communication. WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU: • Minimum 1-3 years experience in New Product Development with proven records of project delivery. • Good communication, organization, interaction skills. • Open minding, innovative and good marketing sense. • Ability to work in cross-functional and global teams and willingness to be a team player, demonstrate technical leadership in team work and proved record of successful leading. • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. • Ability to translate customer needs into product specifications. • Proficient in use of statistical tools to do data analysis. • Good packaging design background for consumer goods (such as electronic devices, personal care packaging, food packaging and pharmaceutical packaging) is preferred. EDUCATION: • Master ‘s degree or above in Material Science, Chemical or Chemical Engineering, or other relevant fields.
