质地柔软的无嗅无味的白色粉末，遮盖力和着色力强，溶点1560～1580℃。不溶于水、稀无机酸、有机溶剂、油，微溶于碱，溶于浓硫酸。 遇热变黄色，冷却后又变白色。金红石型（R型）密度4.26g/cm3，折射率2.72。R型钛白粉具有较好的耐气候性、耐水性和不易变黄的特点，但白度稍差。锐钛型（A型）密度3.84g/cm3，折射率2.55。A型钛白粉耐光性差，不耐风化，但白度较好。近年来发现纳米级超微细二氧化钛（通常为10～50 nm)具有半导体性质，并且具有高稳定性、高透明性、高活性和高分散性，无毒性和颜色效应。 - R216 General Use Rutile Titanium Dioxide Product Description: R216 is Rutile Titanium Dioxide pigment manufactured by the sulphate process and supplied as a fine, dry powder, which are inorganic coated with Al2O3&SiO2 and special organic surface treated to have both good optical properties and excellent pigment properties. With advanced control technology of particle-size and particular coating technology, the products show good whiteness, high gloss, great hiding power, strong tinting power, favorable weatherability , high chalk resistance, low oil absorption, good wetting and are easy to disperse in a variety of systems. Applications: Rutile Titanium Dioxide pigment R216 is general purpose product, widely used in industries includes indoor&outdoor coatings, interior and exterior latex paints, industrial coatings, powder coatings, road paint, anti-corrosive paint, antifouling paint, marine paint. The products can also be used in plastics (PVC, PE, polystyrene and polyurethane etc.), masterbatch, rubber, printing ink, leather, paper making, decoration paper and etc..
